Guided Psychedelic Journeys with Pivot are intentional, therapeutic, and above all safe.

Psychedelics help people address the root causes of their discontent. We work with you before, during, and after your psychedelic experience.

On the day of your journey / medicine session, your guide will be present for you for the entirety of the experience.

Most people feel a sense of relief and rejuvenation afterwards.

You may find yourself more open to others, joyful, and feeling better about life.

Common Questions

  • Psychedelic therapy is a process of working intentionally with plant medicines to access inner healing. Clinical studies show that these medicines are effective in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and more. Indigenous traditions have used these plants for centuries as rites of passage and for healing.

A typical program is four weeks: two weeks of preparation, journey (one full day), and two weeks of integration.

  • Psychedelic therapy can include medicines like psilocybin or ketamine. We do not source for you anything illegal.

We will discuss this topic with you on a consultation.

  • Both ketamine and psilocybin carry unique advantages and disadvantages.

Ketamine is a synthesized molecule that doctors prescribe for off-label use to treat anxiety and depression. Positive effects onset quickly, though they can fade with time.

Psilocybin is found in magic mushrooms. It remains federally illegal, but is decriminalized and even legalized in some parts of the U.S. Clinical trials suggest it’s effective at treating a wide variety of mental health conditions and the results are long-lasting.

  • Many medications are fine to take with psychedelics. Some of them can blunt or dampen the efficacy of the experience (e.g., SSRIs, SNRIs) and others should be stopped entirely (e.g., lithium, benzodiazepines).

We will share more harm-reduction information with you on a consultation call.

We are not a team of doctors or psychiatrists, so we always advise consulting with a medical professional before making any decisions about medications.
